EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

An award-winning producer, director and writer, Richard spent the early part of his career directing and writing in theatre. From directing She Knows You Know, which transferred to the West End, and writing Our Ellen which was produced at the RSC and around the world, to directing Rebecca Front in Swan Song at Hampstead Theatre.

Winning a BBC award for his short film, Arms of an Angel, Richard started Angel Eye Media, producing 4 seasons of the documentary series Edinburgh or Bust for Channel 4. He was executive producer on Miranda Hart’s BBC Radio 4 series Miranda Hart’s Open House, Cowards series for BBC Four and he produced the one-off BAFTA nominated film Hattie, starring Ruth Jones for BBC. Recent work includes comedy animations featuring David Mitchell and Dara O’Brien, Wasted, a sitcom series for E4, Olivia & Alex: Happily Ever After series for TLC, a Vicky Pattison: No Filter series for Quest Red and a returning 80 part series, Curvy Brides Boutique, for Discovery.
